Who can participate in youth entrepreneurship?

After the youth engagement and youth leadership modules of this program are completed, an entrepreneurial project will have been identified by an individual youth leader, or by a group of youth leaders, for their community. Those youth leaders in the community who would like to support this entrepreneurial project (or projects) will choose to move forward into the next step in the youth entrepreneurship program. This next phase of the module will require at least six months.

What is involved in this youth entrepreneurship module?

This module is very action oriented; youth entrepreneurs will learn to do by doing! Youth leaders will be given business training in how to write a business proposal and move their ideas forward into reality.

When can a youth entrepreneur with a good idea be connected to a Canadian mentor?

Once a project proposal for an entrepreneurial project is finalized by a youth entrepreneur, this proposal will be shared by Bridges with potential Canadian mentors. This project proposal will be shared via this website and through face-to-face dialogue with possible mentors to maximize the possibility of a good match.
